Bazzina Beach is located in the north-eastern part of Alicudi and is named after the district in which it is located. The best way to get there is by sea, so you will need to either hire a boat or ask a fisherman or skipper at Alicudi harbour to take you. If you are particularly enterprising, it can be reached by land and takes about half an hour to walk. In fact, there is a somewhat uneven path overlooking the sea that will take you to the village and then on to Bazzina Beach. There, you will find a beautiful pebbly cove with crystal clear blue water. The seabed is quite shallow, so snorkelling is possible. A little further out to sea, the depth is about 6–7 metres, so those with a passion for freediving can also indulge. Bazzina Beach is an oasis of peace and tranquillity, away from everything and everyone, which means, of course, that you will need to bring your own parasol, bottled water and anything else you might need.
